How to Improve Your AEO Score: 8 Fixes That Actually Work
Once you have run your content through the checker and seen which signals are failing, here are the most impactful changes you can make. Start from the top and work down.
Fix 1: Start with a direct answer
Open your content with a 2 to 3 sentence paragraph that directly answers the main question your page covers. Write it as if someone asked "What is [your keyword]?" and you had 30 seconds to answer clearly. This opening block is what AI engines most often pull for generated responses. Fix 6: Include at least one statistic with a source
Specific, sourced statistics are one of the clearest signals of factual authority.
